The IEEE eHealth TC try to positions itself as a global leader in innovation on applied TIC over eHealth area. We should keep being the first reference in our area and further rise as a driver of innovation, appropriately identifying emerging opportunities. In this context, I would like to supports the chair and have this schedule project during my office term:
- Bringing synergies within industrial and academics counterparts for greater participation within the eHealth TC activities such as publications, discussion forums and so on.
- Interface and effectively commits eHealth TC within IEEE ComSoc with the eHealth chair.
- Help insert students within academics to link with other academic and industry groups within the storage community. We want to set this motion of activity to this field.
- Engaging all our TC members and all people in the scientific and industrial community, and promoting active participation in eHealth TC;
- Work with the eHealth TC chair, Secretary and all the voluntaries TC members to develop a process and sustain our activities.
With the eHealth Chair, I will fully engaged to serve our community, with strategical view and orientation, encouraging involvement and catalyzing the diverse aspirations and competences of eHealth TC members.
Qualifications
I started volunteering for IEEE when I was a student, 15 years ago. Since then, I have been involved in a large spectrum of IEEE activities, including members services, technical committees, conferences, publications, education, people networking, management. I have served on the Technical Activities Board and the Publication Services and Products Board as well as on their Committees. I has been on the technical program committee of different IEEE conferences, including INFOCOM, GLOBECOM, ICC, WiMob, WCNC, VTC, IM/NOMS, IWCMC, GIIS, WiMob, Wireless Days, CNSM, DSOM and chaired some of their sessions.
I am active member of eHealth Technical Committee from several years. I act as TPC Chair of IEE CSCN 2018 and Chair of Selected eHealth Area in next IEEE ICC 2019; He was a General Chair of MobileHealth WS, ACM MOBIHOC 2017, Chair of eHealth and Well-being Track at IEEE International Smart Cities Conference (ISC2 – 2017); Track Chair and Co-Chair for more than 10 IEEE and ACM conferences. He was or is also involved in the organizing committees of several conferences as IEEE CSCN 2018, IEEE GIIS 2009.
As part of my professional activities linked to the computer networking research community, I have served as co-chair of best (& student) paper eHealth TC Award Committee and Granted Awards 2017 of eHelath TC.

Hassine Moungla received an engineering degree in computer science from Computer Sciences Institute, USTHB university in 1999, and M.S. degree in artificial intelligence and combinatorial optimization for telecoms from the sup’ GALILEE Institute – University of Paris XIII, France, and a Ph.D. degree in computer networks from University of Paris XIII, France, in 2002 and 2006, respectively.
Hassine is an Associate Professor from University of Paris Descartes and a member of the Paris Descartes Computer Science Laboratory (LIPADE) since October 2008. He is currently working as associate researcher and visiting CNRS Researcher at Institut Mines Telecom located at CEA Saclay Nano-Innov pole. He was a researcher at INRIA until 2008 and research fellow at CNRS-LIPN laboratory from University of Paris XIII until 2007.
His current research interests lie in the field of Wireless Sensor Networking for medical applications, Wireless Sensor Networking, IoT, ICN, Edge Computing, Middelware for 5G Mobile and Sensor Networks.
Hassine authored or co-authored several book chapters, peer-reviewed international journal articles and peer-reviewed conference papers.
He participated and still participates to several national and international research projects. Among them DVD2C project (FUI) 2015-2018, LCI4D project (FUI) 2014-2017, ANR TOSCANE (2006 – 2010), BIOSENSORS Project (Research French Ministry) (2010 – 2012) and PLASTIC project (2007 – 2009), European Project STREP IST.
Since 2008, He also participated to several local committees within Paris Descartes University (Faculty and Institute Council, Institute Board, and Faculty Recruiting Committee) and other French universities (Faculty Recruiting Committee at the University of Rennes 1 and at University of Lannion).

He is an IEEE member (IEEE Senior member candidate) and active ember of eHealth Technical Committee from several years.
